The Village society have produced a series of cards and postcards that are available for collection in Histon or by post. You can also see our list of books and booklets here.

Streetscapes Cards

These postcards are coloured prints of pen and ink drawings of bygone streets and buildings in Histon and Impington. On the back of each card are helpful notes detailing the individual buildings. They were created from 2000-2006 by the late Alan Eade, a talented local artist and historian.

  • This line drawing is of the aerial view in Histon of the junction of Church Street, Narrow Lane and Windmill Lane. This perspective lasted largely unchanged from 1880 to 1960! Includes notes about many of the buildings shown. Drawn by the late Alan Eade in 2008.
